The Madras Trunk promises to provide you with a best-in-class shopping experience at every step of the way. We assure you that all due precautions are taken so that your package reaches you intact as we invest a great deal of care and love in making every pair of THE MADRAS TRUNK’s. If for some reason you are not sure of your size you can always write to us at nithila@themadrastrunk.com or refer to our to our size guide.
HOW TO EXCHANGE?
We hope you don’t need to but, if you need to return or exchange the product, please contact our customer care team within 2 days of receiving the product. Mail at nithila@themadrastrunk.com or call us at +91 7397320064 (please drop us a message if you can’t reach us and we will get back to you at the earliest) and we will process your exchange or store credit. After which, you will have to ship the product back to us at:

Please Note: As a company policy we do not provide refund on any product sold. Exchanges are not offered with international shipments.Once THE MADRAS TRUNK products are sold they can be exchanged for a replacement or a store credit.
Please ship back using the following carriers only: FedEx, Aramex, First Flight, Professional Courier, DTDC, Speed Post.
After shipping the product to us, please email us the tracking ID and what you would like to exchange your product for. (email id: nithila@themadrastrunk.com)
On receiving the return, our technical team will inspect the product to check that it is unworn and in it’s original condition with all tags and labels if any are intact. Please ensure that the product is in its original condition and packaging. Item(s), which show signs of wear and/or being worn before, will not be eligible for returns or exchanges. We would require all original papers if any to be returned with the product.
After inspection of the product(s) our team will facilitate the exchange order or provide the store credit as per your choice within 2-3 working days from the day of receiving the return package. THE MADRAS TRUNK reserves all rights to inspect the condition of the product before processing any returns or exchanges. The cost for shipping the product back to us is to be borne by you. When we deliver your corrected pair the shipping is on us again.
Please note: Any product that has been hampered or damaged while transportation or shipping errors MUST be notified by email within 48 hours of the product being delivered and returned to our address mentioned above within a period of one week, else THE MADRAS TRUNK will not be liable to accept the merchandise. In such cases, the customer will have to write in to nithila@themadrastrunk.com and a prompt response is guaranteed from our end. Our team will investigate the damage from our end and repair or replace the merchandise immediately.
We do not offer direct exchanges. The Management’s decision with regard to damaged/defective product and/or issuance of store credit shall be final and binding. Further, the Management reserves the unilateral right to modify/alter the aforesaid conditions/policy without prior notice and the same shall be final and binding.
All THE MADRAS TRUNK products are handcrafted and the variations you might find in the same product stems from this reason and are not imperfections but characteristics of beautifully made bespoke footwear that is a work of art. Reproduction of colors is as accurate as possible, although please note that leather is a natural material and a slight variation is bound to appear in each product. Color variations cannot be subject to rejection of merchandise.
Small scratches and marks on the leather surface are a part of the characteristics of the material and they do not qualify as defects. All THE MADRAS TRUNK products are in accordance to International Standards.
Note for international taxes and duties:
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The destination country may subject to import taxes, custom duties and fees levy orders shipped outside of India. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be taken care of by the recipient; THE MADRAS TRUNK has no control over these charges, nor can THE MADRAS TRUNK predict what they may be.
If you have entered the wrong address or I want to change the shipping address, you will have to contact us immediately to get it changed. You can email us at nithila@themadrastrunk.com or call us to get this changed before it’s dispatched. We will not be responsible if the shipment has been dispatched to a wrong address provided by you.
An online order can be shipped to only one location. However, if you require them to be shipped to several locations, we recommend you place separate order for each address you wish to ship to. If you require assistance please contact us at nithila@themadrastrunk.com.
An item on sale can be returned if it meets with the 7-day return policy. Unless specified otherwise.

I only know my footwear size in Indian/UK?
No worries, we have a size guide which has Euro sizing, UK/Ind and also measurement in cms. However, please note different styles have different fits.
